It was the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley that would inspire a group of businessmen to develop Whistler Mountain in hopes of hosting the 1968 Winter Olympic Games. More than 40 years later their dream was realized as Vancouver, and Whistler as a Host Mountain Resort, was awarded the right to host the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Let the celebrations begin!
