Businesses participating in the 2009/10 Mystery Shopper Program that excel in service will be recognized through the 2010 Recognition Program. Each month the top 3 businesses, per sector, will be publicly recognized in The Question Newspaper and awarded 2010 related prizes as the Bronze, Silver and Gold sector winners. The cache associated with the prizes will build from month to month culminating in cash to throw a staff party for the top three winning businesses overall.

In additon the Whistler Chamber of Commerce will be handing out Medals Plaza tickets during the Winter Games to recognize and reward excellent customer service.
