The upcoming 2009/2010 winter season promises to be quite different due to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. It has already impacted the Chamber’s decision not to hold a Job Fair in 2009.

Information compiled through a recent Chamber survey, as well as discussions with a variety of businesses, has confirmed that a Job Fair may not be the most effective way to approach recruitment this year as some businesses have already completed their hiring process while others do not plan to hire until late December or early January.
