Integrating your 2010 operational needs with the 2010 Transportation Plan

The Whistler Chamber of Commerce (WCC) is working closely with the Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW), VANOC and other Resort partners and its membership to ensure that Whistler businesses successfully realize the opportunities that the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games offer.

As part of their commitment to that goal, the WCC and RMOW have facilitated workshops with representative groups from the Food and Beverage, Retail, Accommodation and Service sectors to discuss the integration of the sectors’ operational requirements throughout Whistler with the Integrated Transportation Plan.  Operational planning specific to Olympic venues will be co-ordinated separately by VANOC.

The purpose of the attached letter is to confirm the information shared at the business sector workshops and to set out the agreed next steps.

We encourage our members to read the attached guidance and to take the recommended next steps in accordance with the timeline set out on Page 4 of the letter.
