As owner and President of Brent Harley and Associates Inc., designers of distinctive mountain resorts, Brent Harley directs the activities of his highly specialized staff in their very diversified and active practice.

With Bachelor degrees in environmental studies and landscape architecture, and a Masters of Business Administration, Brent has focused on mountain resort master planning, ski resort design and resort village planning throughout Canada, the USA, Australia, Japan, Korea, China and New Zealand.  He has been very involved in the approval processes for these projects, working closely with his clients and the various government bodies to achieve the desired end results.
 
Brent has lived in Whistler since 1978.  This has afforded him the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the community’s development.  He has served on the Whistler Design Panel and the Advisory Planning Commission and is very aware of the ongoing issues facing his home town.

Brent lives with his wife Nancy, daughter Paige and son Chase.  He is an active recreationalist with a focus on skiing and mountain biking.
