My name is Jody Wilson, owner/operator of JODYCO TRAVEL. 
We are a multi-lingual vacation planning service with predominantly Spanish and Portuguese speaking clientele.  I have contacts in the tourism industry from around the globe, and I act as an ambassador to Whistler everyday while building and promoting my own business. 

Prior to setting up JODYCO in 1995, I was the Whistler branch manager of a Japanese tour company, PLAYGUIDE TOURS.  I provided guest services in Japanese, and managed up to 8 Japanese employees.  During the summer months I ran CLUB JODYCO, a language exchange summer camp for Japanese and Canadian kids.

I am originally from Lillooet and have been living and working in Whistler since 1985.  I have been a Chamber member for 10 years and a member of Women of Whistler.  I speak 6 languages fluently.  I am a certified Level Two ski instructor. 

I am interested in sitting on the Chamber Board, and I feel that my experience with, and understanding of the international market would be a great asset to the Chamber and to the community.
