As the owner of two Whistler businesses in completely different sectors, I feel strongly that I have a good understanding of the Whistler market place. Both Burnt Stew Computer Solutions (the only local Apple Computer Dealer and Service Provider) and Pasta Lupino Gourmet were start up businesses in which I directed both the planning and development stages. Over the years I have developed a network of Whistler clients that spans all sectors, enabling me to interact, familiarize and understand how local businesses work.  I am personally interested in working with the Whistler Chamber of Commerce to facilitate Business Development, Sustainability and Growth. I am especially interested in focusing on ways and methods by which local business, our municipal government and tourism Whistler might forge a relationship of collaboration, thoughtfulness and alignment specifically focused on business development post 2010 Winter Games and beyond. I have worked as a facilitator and IT teacher/trainer for the RMOW,
Capilano University and the L'il Wat Nation.  I am extremely comfortable in public speaking engagements and frequently invited to present to groups on such areas as: Internet Business Development & IT Solutions in Business and Training.
