Making my home in Whistler with my partner Helen and two daughters, we enjoy participating in a wide variety of activities within the community. I have been in the tourism business for 31 years in Whistler. Last year I sold my shares in the business I started 12 years ago. We are currently exploring our next business opportunity. I have served on the Chamber of Commerce board of directors for the past two years, currently as vice chair. Working to continuously improve the Chamber's relevance is my top priority. I believe that a diverse year-round tourism based economy will give our community the best opportunity to succeed in the current and future climates. I am a supporter of a resort business plan to move us toward our 2020 goals in a well-planned and strategic manner. I am in favor of a private tourism university being built in Whistler. Over the years I have been involved in numerous community groups and boards including Tourism Whistler, Whistler Arts Council and the 2020 Economic Task Force.  If given the opportunity to continue on the Chamber of Commerce board of directors, I will work collectively to enhance the competitive advantage of the Resort Community of Whistler.
