Whistler Events - What can YOUR business do?

Engaging Businesses in Whistler’s Annual Events & Festivals

As a business in Whistler, it's important to know what events are in town so that you can take advantage of the many guests we have in the Resort during that time. With each event, ask yourself: "Is MY business ready?". Here is what's coming up:

NiX

Date: January 22-February 27

Canada's first outdoor theatrical adventure for winter-lovers in a theatre of snow and ice constructed at Lost Lake in Whistler.

What can YOU do during this event to leverage your business?

1. Print off the NiX poster!
2. Make sure every one of your staff knows about the event. Come up with a communication plan to ensure the details are circulated amongst staff and passed on between shifts.
3. Have flyers available in your store (Tourism Whistler Street Team will be coming around with these).
4. Be sure to check out this unique outdoor snow and ice stage!
5. Talk up the event with your customers.
6. Businesses that deal in sporting clothes can familiarize yourselves with the guidelines for dressing for the show to promote your wears! Warm layers top and bottom, toque, mittens, scarf, and a blanket is a good idea.

For businesses and staff who want to see the show: There are great deals for Whistler locals on January 26-28 and Feb 2-3: $25 for all tickets (50% off the best seats in the house).
