If you're not getting the Spirit emails, log back into your Spirit Account on www.whistlerchamber.com, and the system will let you know if you've been approved or not. If it is still telling you that you are not approved, triple check with your employer, and then contact the Whistler Chamber of Commerce at

or 604.932.5922 ext. 23. 2. Can I get my pass before I attend my Spirit Session?
Yes. Once you sign up online, you will see a confirmation page that gives you a Mountain Money/Voucher number. Bring this number with you to Guest Relations at Whistler Blackcomb to pay for and pick up your pass. (If you had a pass last year, please refer to Question 7). Remember, if your boss is paying for your pass, you will receive an email letting you know when your pass is ready for pick-up (or log back into your account for updates). Allow up to 48 to 72 hours after you receive your Mountain Money/Voucher number so the payment can be processed. 3. Can I register for the Spirit Program before finding a job?
Yes. Register online, and instead of selecting who your employer is, select the option that says "I do not yet have an employer". From there, you will be able to select a session date. Sessions are limited, and it's best to get your session completed as soon as possible so that you don't miss out. Once you have found a job, log back into your profile and select which company you work for. Once your employer approves you, you will be emailed your Mountain Money/Voucher number and be able to pick up your pass. Please note: You will not be able to purchase your Spirit Pass before securing employment. 4. If I am unable to secure employment until the new year, but would still like to access the mountain, what should I do?
Make sure you complete the Spirit Pass Program before the end of 2011 by registering online and attending your session. In the meantime, you can purchase a full priced Whistler Blackcomb season pass, and then be reimbursed the difference between the full price and the Spirit Pass Price once you have secured employment. If you wait too long and don't attend a session in the time frame they are being offered, the Spirit Pass rate will no longer be available to you. Please note: There may be a four week waiting period for Whistler Blackcomb to process your refund. 5. What happens if I miss my Spirit Session?
Don’t miss your Spirit Session! But if you do, your pass will become hotlisted, and you won’t be able to use it. You will then need to pay a $25 rescheduling fee and contact the Whistler Chamber of Commerce to sign up for another session. It may take up to 48 hours before your Spirit Pass is active again. For further details, please refer to Question 12. Please note:Space in the Spirit Sessions is limited and therefore not guaranteed. 6. What does "hotlisted" mean?
Hotlisted means that your pass is temporarily inactivated. This can happen if you miss your Spirit Session or lose your job. 7. I had a pass last year. What's the fastest way to get up the hill?
If you had a pass before, there's no need to wait in line! You can call Guest Relations (1.800.766.0449) with your Mountain Money/Voucher number and pay for your pass over the phone. Alternatively, if your company is paying for your pass, once you receive notification via email that your pass has been processed by Whistler Blackcomb, you can head straight to the gondola. Make sure you don't miss your scheduled Spirit Session!
8. I've never had a Whistler Blackcomb pass before. Where do I pick one up once I've registered?
It is a requirement of all FIRST TIME Whistler Blackcomb passholders to create and complete a Guest Profile, Photo Upload and Release of Liability. Passes can then be picked up at Whistler Blackcomb Guest Relations, located at the base of Whistler Mountain. Don't forget to bring your Mountain Money/Voucher number with you. If your employer is paying for your pass, you must wait up to 48 to 72 hours after you sign up for your Spirit Session to pick it up.
9. What's a Mountain Money/Voucher number?

You must bring this number with you to Whistler Blackcomb Guest Relations in order to pick up your pass. 10. Do I have to pay for my pass up front?

All people who participate in the Whistler Spirit Pass Program are expected to abide by the Spirit Responsibility Code: "I understand that my participation in the Spirit Pass Program has been made possible by my employer. I will treat the Spirit Sessions in the same manner that I treat my work, and I will not attend a session under the influence of alcohol or drugs. I am aware that if I disturb a session by displaying unacceptable behaviour, my employer will be informed. The Whistler Chamber of Commerce also reserves the right to hotlist my pass, which would prevent me from having access to the mountain." 16. What is the Alpine Responsibility Code?
Click here to view the Alpine Responsibility Code. 16. What happens if I disobey the Alpine Responsibility Code?
The Whistler Blackcomb Operations Department will be taking strong measures against Spirit Pass holders who break the rules. If you incur a two week or more suspension, you will automatically lose your Spirit Pass privileges for the season and be required to upgrade to the price difference of a full season pass at the regular rate. For the 2011-12 season this would be a cost of $535 + HST as well as attending a Safety Awareness Seminar. 17. I lost my job. Can I keep my Spirit Pass?
No. If you are terminated or leave your job, your pass will be hotlisted until you find a new employer who is also a part of the Whistler Spirit Pass Program. If you choose not to, or are not able to find another employer, you will be required to pay the difference of a full price seasons pass in order to continue to access the mountains. 18. If I bought an Early Bird pass but want to join the Spirit Pass Program, can I be refunded the difference?
Yes. Register for the Whistler Spirit Pass Program online, and then bring your Mountain Money/Voucher number with you to Whistler Blackcomb Guest Relations to get your refund taken care of. 19. Can I exchange my Spirit Pass for a midweek pass?
