 Kimberley Hughes is the General Manager of the Delta Whistler Village Suites and has been an integral part of Whistler’s hospitality industry for the last 16 years. Kimberley arrived in Whistler in 1991 and joined Blackcomb Hotels & Resorts as it grew from 5 properties to 12. She has since held positions at the Delta Whistler Resort, Delta Sun Peaks Resort and the Four Seasons Resort Whistler. In April 2005, Kimberley was named General Manager of the Delta Whistler Village Suites. Passionate about the service experience, Kimberley realizes that to sustain itself long term, Whistler has to create a memorable experience for guests and employees alike. She has participated in the Visitor Experience Task Force supporting the 2020 Sustainability Plan and was one of the founders of the Respect Whistler Committee focused on working with the RCMP, the RMOW, local businesses and night clubs in an effort to reduce the negative impact that noise has on village visitors. Kimberley has the energy, enthusiasm and strong work ethic to help move this resort forward and her efforts as part of the Whistler Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will help to confidently take Whistler into 2010.
