Electronic voting for the 2009 Whistler Chamber Board of Directors is now open and closes at 5pm November 28th, 2008. The online system has security measures in place to ensure votes remain confidential and will be monitored by a third party.

The Chamber Board consists of 18 elected directors and 4 appointees. There are nine (9) two-year term positions available as well as two (2) one-year terms. As per the Chamber Bylaws, when an election is required to elect more than half of the total Board of Directors, the nine nominees receiving the greatest number of votes shall be elected for the two (2) year terms and the next in sequence for the one (1) year terms. Directors can serve on the board for a maximum of eight (8) consecutive years.

Please note that you may select up to 11 nominees for the available positions.

The newly elected board members will be announced at the December AGM and sworn in at the first board meeting in January 2009.
