Summary
Provides temporary income support to employed and self-employed people who cannot work due to a Covid-19 lockdown. The CWLB is only available when a Covid-19 lockdown order is in effect for your region. If eligible, you can receive $300 (pre-tax) for each 1-week period.
Eligibility
Designated COVID-19 lockdown regions are only eligible for specific weeks. Search for eligible lockdown order periods and check that you meet all other eligibility criteria before applying.

Available Funding
If eligible, you can receive $300 (pre-tax) for each 1-week period.
Deadline
You may apply for any weeks your region had a Covid-19 lockdown order in effect from Oct. 24, 2021 – May 7, 2022. The earliest you can apply is on the Monday after the first week your region is in a lockdown. You may apply for any eligible 1-week period for up to 60 days after that period has ended (Each 1-week period spans from Sunday to Saturday).
