Celebrating Whistler’s Most Excellent!
The Whistler Excellence Awards are our chance to celebrate Whistler’s innovators, trailblazers and community cultivators! Whistler’s business and community awards build brands and honour local legends.
Hosted by the Whistler Chamber in partnership with Whistler Community Foundation, the Whistler Arts Council, AWARE and presented by BlueShore Financial – each year, the evening is dedicated to honouring excellence in the areas of service, innovation, sustainability, outstanding leadership in the arts, business and community service.
New this year was the Emerging Business of the Year, awarded to a business who has recently emerged in our community and demonstrates exceptional promise for continued growth.
2022 Theme – The Art of Business
Being in business means you undoubtedly find “creative” ways to solve problems, reach new or existing markets, implement new procedures, connect with your customers…finding new ways to improve your business every single day. Over the past twelve months, as we continue to navigate the new business landscape, industries and individuals are overcoming obstacles and setbacks showing incredible resiliency.
This year, on Thursday October 20, 2022 we celebrated the imagination and ingenuity of our own Whistler Community at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Whether it’s the process leading to the end product, where you draw your inspiration from; your muse, or how a vision becomes reality, there’s no argument; business is an art form. This year we celebrate The Art of Business.
