Jack Crompton is the owner of Transportation Whistler. He is a serial entrepreneur who loves starting businesses.  In 2003 he founded Whistler Resort Cabs, which he operated until selling in 2008. In 2007 he founded the transportation planning company Transportation Whistler, which now also operates www.ridebooker.com.

Jack’s innovative work in the Whistler transportation industry is focused on making  transportation a solid link in Whistler’s resort service chain. Jack is working hard to help Whistler capitalize on the Olympic opportunity. The  Ridebooker.com Whistler Shuttle service is focused on cost-effectively and conveniently getting Olympic visitors into Whistler.

Jack is involved in various community groups including the Transportation Advisory Group (TAG) and Whistler 2020.Jack hopes to bring his understanding of social media and its benefit to local businesses to the Chamber board.

Jack’s businesses have been direct beneficiaries of great work by the Whistler Chamber.  The extension of the holiday working visa program made hiring 100 employees a season possible.  He hopes that his work on the Chamber board can provide real, measurable and positive results for Whistler businesses.

Jack and his wife Carolyn have 4 children and are looking forward to the Olympics and a great ski season.
