What a season it’s been! Over the past year, Chamber Members came together to network, discover local businesses and experience Whistler.
The 2025/26 Chamber Après season was our biggest yet, with every event selling out—some within minutes—and hundreds of local business owners, professionals and leaders joining us to make new connections, strengthen existing ones and celebrate the incredible diversity of our business community.
Here’s a quick wrap up of the year:
Zip, Sip & Socialize with Ziptrek Ecotours
We kicked off the season by soaring through the treetops before gathering for networking, drinks and spectacular mountain view.
A huge thank you to the team at Ziptrek Ecotours for hosting us, zipping us, teaching us about sustainability, and entertaining us with the epic music from Apres Trio (what a fitting name!). More thank yous are in order for Hunter Gather for feeding us, and Coast Mountain Brewing for your refreshing brews.
Stories, Culture & Connection at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre
This was an evening of connection, conversation, and community impact, where we heard about what the team is up to, from running the Youth Ambassador Program, to preparing for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Tuesday. We also had the opportunity to play the fantastic Truth in Truth and Reconciliation board game, and enjoy nibbles and treats from the SLCC.
Whistler Community Services was also there to highlight their food bank and drug testing programs, and to talk about how local businesses can make a difference around two pressing challenges facing our Nations and Whistler: food security and drug toxicity.
Cinnamon Bear Social with Damara Day Spa
Cinnamon Bear and Damara Day Spa teamed up for this event, featuring the grand opening and ribbon cutting for the day spa. It was so great to explore the spa’s brand-new space and enjoy their beautiful goodie bags, and then head over to the Cinnamon Bear for delicious bites and drinks.
Big thanks to both these amazing hosts for such a memorable evening and for making us feel so welcome, and thank you to Monty Biggins for setting the scene with live music!
Fresh Connections at Milestones + Chamber AGM
It was so exciting to be back in the Milestones space and see the beautiful renovations in December. We got to try feature items from the menu, including drinks and nibbles. We were also fortunate to combine our annual Chamber AGM with this event, making the most of this beautiful new space.
Mix & Mingle at Mexican Corner hosted by BDC, with MNP
We had the best time in February at Chamber Apres: Meet & Mingle at Mexican Corner hosted by BDC, with MNP!
Our wonderful hosts BDC and MNP shared how they support local businesses with banking and accounting services respectively, and venue The Mexican Corner treated us all to beers, margaritas, tacos, and other delicious Mexican appetizers. The sunshine came out and the vibes were on point at the first Chamber Apres of the calendar year.
Sky-High Networking with Blackcomb Helicopters
The Sky-High Networking event with Blackcomb Helicopters and Coast Range Heliskiing was easily one of the most anticipated Chamber events of the year — and it absolutely delivered.
There was excitement everywhere you looked: smiling faces, buzzing conversations, and the big moment when two incredibly lucky winners were drawn to win heli-skiing trips. But the thrills didn’t stop there… 20 guests were also drawn for a helicopter ride over the village, taking networking to a whole new level (literally).
A sky-high thank you to our incredible hosts for creating such a spectacular experience.
Shop, Sip & Sample at Creekside Village
This was a different format from the usual Chamber Apres, as we didn’t just visit one host venue – but multiple!
We all enjoyed a drink at Rockit Coffee before splitting into groups for a walking tour of Creekside Village. We popped into the Whistler Beauty Bar, Abigail’s, Get the Goods, BC Liquor, and 122 West, all before heading back to Rockit for a BBQ and networking.
It was a great way to explore some of the best of what Creekside has to offer.
Bike, Sip & Celebrate with Cycle Whistler
A handful of attendees arrived at last week’s Chamber Apres with Cycle Whistler ready to brave the rain – only for the clouds to disperse as soon as we hit the trails! It began with nibbles and networking at Summit Lodge, followed by a beautiful cycle out to Table Nineteen at Nicklaus North.
There we had drinks, more nibbles, a putt-off for a Nicklaus North voucher, and a prize draw. With the sun and views putting on a show, this was a gorgeous way to celebrate Cycle to Work Day!
Summer Patio Party at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler
A huge thank you to Four Seasons Resort Whistler for hosting such a memorable event. The Latin American-themed summer patio activation ‘Pura Vida’ showcased spectacular food and drinks – and will be available every Thursday evening this summer!
Between the beautiful patio setting and delicious food and drinks to the incredible atmosphere and meaningful networking opportunities, it was the perfect way to kick off the summer season. It was wonderful to see so many members of Whistler’s business community come together to connect, share ideas, and build new relationships.
Cocktails & Canapés at Nita Lake Lodge
The final Chamber Apres of the season was truly a night of firsts. The first sit down Chamber Apres meal, the first dress theme, and even the first bubble machine!
The cocktails were so good people were asking for the recipe. The meal was so incredible people were asking if this really was just ‘a normal Chamber Apres’. The vibes were so high everyone is already looking forward to visiting again this summer!
The biggest thank you to the wonderful team at Nita Lake Lodge for spoiling us all with exceptional food and refreshing lakeside rosé. It truly was a magical evening!
