Two and half years ago my husband and I relocated to Whistler after purchasing a business and I quickly came to appreciate the services provided by the Chamber of Commerce. I believe that the Chamber serves a critical role for small and medium sized businesses in Whistler, be it access to comprehensive employee benefits to advocating for key policies and programs at the provincial and national level, and the regular opportunities to connect with other business owners in some of the best settings this valley has to offer.

I have had the privilege of sitting on a number of not-for-profit boards over the past 15 years, and have gained valuable governance experience. As well, my experience as a former executive in the credit union system, both BC and nationally and now as a director with BlueShore Financial, provides me with a solid understanding of the governance and management of member based organizations. I have experience in workforce planning, recruitment, government relations, and board governance. My dynamic background as a FCPA, FCA with extensive experience in human resources and governance, provides me with a broad perspective needed to help navigate the issues facing many businesses in Whistler.

As a member of the Chamber Board of Directors, I will represent members’ interests in ensuring that the Whistler Chamber of Commerce continues to provide the important services needed by businesses to sustain and compete in an increasingly challenging environment.
