Whistler’s favourite networking series has wrapped for the season! The 2024/25 Chamber Après brought together our business community in the most Whistler way possible — casual, collaborative, and full of great conversation.

We’re looking back on a fantastic season filled with unforgettable events, generous hosts, and plenty of meaningful connections. A huge thank you to all the incredible businesses that opened their doors, shared their stories, and created welcoming spaces for fellow members to mix, mingle, and grow together.

Want to host next season? Applications are now open for 2025/26 Chamber Après events — but don’t wait! The deadline to apply is July 31. Apply here ➝

Now, let’s raise a glass to another great season and revisit some of the highlights from Chamber Après 2024/25!

Sharing Stories with the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre

Many thanks to the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre for hosting a truly special Chamber Après in September 2024 to kick off the year!

We saw Master Carver Jonathan Joe and Apprentice Redmond Qawam Andrews at work on the story pole. We enjoyed non-alcoholic cocktails from the Raven Room. And most importantly, we played The Truth in Truth and Reconciliation board game, an eye-opening, heart-breaking, wonderful educational game from James Darin Corbiere (who was even in attendance to share the game’s origins). Thank you to everyone who joined, and to our wonderful hosts!

Savour the Flavour with Rimrock Café

In October 2024, we enjoyed Savour the Flavour with Rimrock Café, one of Whistler’s most beloved restaurants!

Thank you so much to the wonderful team at the Rimrock Café. You made the evening so special with all the delicious nibbles & drinks, warm atmosphere, and brilliant live music from The Paynters. We loved seeing the showcase of all the local talent, from Flashback Whistler to Lily Food Creation.

Winter’s Season Kick-off with Caramba

Caramba kicked off the winter season with an epic Chamber Apres in November 2024. It was one of the first valley snowfalls of the year, and it set the scene for excitement for the winter to come.

We were lucky enough to get a taste of Lorette, which at the time hadn’t yet opened. We also enjoyed bites from both Caramba and Quattro, as well as delicious wines and sangria.

Gather & Grow with BDC at Hunter Gather

BDC and Hunter Gather launched us into the New Year a fantastic Chamber Après in January.

A huge thank you to BDC is in order for hosting at Hunter Gather. We enjoyed sliders and nibbles, beers and wines, and plenty of networking. We also heard updates and info from Business Centre Manager Sarah Lloyd.

Championship Connections with Whistler Mountain Ski Club

The Whistler Mountain Ski Club in Creekside hosted our February Chamber Apres, introducing us to their fantastic rental space and hosting capabilities.

A huge thank you is in order for the club for putting on a delicious spread with drinks, and introducing us to local legend Rob Boyd. Rob spoke about the early days of the club, and we all got a reminder about what a great event venue it is today.

Cocktails & Canapes with Nita Lake Lodge

Nita Lake Lodge truly raised the bar at their Cocktails and Canapes Chamber Apres in March!

From the phenomenal food to the ridiculously tasty cocktails and the musical stylings of Gary from Blame The Weekend, it was an especially popular event that had everybody raving. Thank you so much to everyone on the team at Nita – we can’t wait to pop in for more meals and drinks!

Light up the Night with The Adventure Group

TAG – The Adventure Group – showcased their vibrant basecamp at Cougar Mountain in April, hosting a stunning Chamber Apres as the sun set.

The cornhole competition and lawn games kept things exciting, the drinks and nibbles kept things tasty, and the welcoming fires kept us warm. As soon as it was dark, we explored the ethereal Vallea Lumina and experienced Whistler’s forests in a whole new ‘light’. Thank you so much to TAG for an epic Apres adventure!

Celebrating National Bike to Work Day with Cycle Whistler

In May, we Celebrated National Bike to Work Day with Cycle Whistler!

We had an awesome adventure picking up bikes from Cycle Whistler, heading out to Nicklaus North Golf Club for networking, nibbles, and putting, before heading back to the village for more networking at the Cinnamon Bear.

The Four Seasons’ Summer Patio Party

In June, we journeyed to the Riviera at the Four Seasons Whistler for a Chamber Apres featuring phenomenal food, delicious rosé, and gorgeous sunshine.

Thank you so much to the impressive team at The Four Seasons for such a brilliant event. It was a wonderful way to welcome the warmer season, and a great reminder to come back for ‘Riviera & Rose Thursdays’ for that Mediterranean buffet on the patio.

Networking at New Heights with Whistler Blackcomb

Whistler Blackcomb hosted the Networking at New Heights Chamber Après Pop-Up at the top of Blackcomb in late June.

We enjoyed tours around some of the quick hiking trails before heading into Christine’s to receive a welcome from the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre Ambassadors, and to hear from Belinda Trembath, CEO of Whistler Blackcomb. There were delicious canapes, great drinks, and moody views all evening. A huge thank you is in order to all the team at Whistler Blackcomb for putting on such an exceptional sell-out event and treating us all to a reminder of what makes the mountains just as enjoyable in summer as they are in winter!

Connecting with Collections at the Audain Art Museum

The team at the Audain Art Museum kindly hosted us for the final Chamber Apres of the 24/25 season in July!

We were welcomed with a delicious summery cocktail from Montis Distilling, then nibbled on delicious canapes from Flute & Fromage, and enjoyed a cold beer thanks to Coast Mountain Brewery. The live jazz from Sea to Soul Highway was exceptional, and we got to see the two spectacular current exhibits The Coast Mountains: Recent Works by Edward Burtynsky and Gathered Leaves: Discoveries from the Drawings Vault.

Thank you to everyone who made it happen, and to all of our guests for coming along!
